Know About Indian Pass

INDIAN PASS https://www.visitgulf.com

Indian Pass is a golf cart friendly community known as a quiet and casual area that melts away the pace of hectic living into a blissful Old Florida Charm of peace and calm. Indian Pass beaches are pet friendly (leashes please) and Golf Carts are allowed on the beaches with permits (furnished with our rentals). From catching a ferry ride to St. Vincents Island to explore the protected St. Vincents National Wildlife Refuge, camping at the Indian Pass Campground, or eating at the superbly popular Indian Pass Raw Bar at its current location since 1929, Indian Pass is sure to give you a breath of fresh salt air. Gulf County is a Leave No Trace area -please clean up after your pets, yourself, and remove all items from the beach at sunset. Please follow the rules and regulations of Gulf County to preserve the Cape and its beaches for generations to come.
Can you drive golf carts on the beach at Indian Pass?
Yes! Indian Pass is a golf cart-friendly community with drivable beach access. The required beach permit is included in your rental rate. Golf carts may be operated between sunrise and sunset on the beach.

How do I access the beach with my golf cart?
There are several public beach access sites for golf carts on Indian Pass. Your rental house may or may not have direct drivable beach access, but you can access several public locations in order to drive the cart beachside. If you have questions about beach access sites, please ask us or your rental agency for more information.

How old do you have to be to drive a golf cart?
We require our rental drivers to be at least 21 years old OR a licensed driver 16 years or older with a licensed driver 21+. We also ask for proof of a valid driver's license and car insurance at the time of rental.

Leave No Trace
Remove all belongings (including the rental items) from the beach at night. Gulf County does patrol and will remove any items left on the beach and discard them. The renter is responsible for the replacement of any rental items should this occur, as well as damage and/or lost revenue.

Sea Turtles
Sea Turtle Nesting season is May 1st through October 31st. Please remember during your visit to keep our Gulf County Beaches CLEAN, FLAT, & DARK for our emerging hatchlings and nesting mommas. Please fill in any holes and knock down sand sculptures before leaving the beaches. Beach-front homes are required to have subtle lighting installed; please be mindful of indoor and outdoor lighting and close the blinds or curtains – the lights mimic the moon and disorient turtles and hatchlings.

FIRES
Please put out and remove any remnants of beach bonfires by removing the wood/cooled embers. Make sure all wood is deemed suitable for fires (i.e., no nails, skids, trash, etc). You are able to secure a Solo Stove Bonfire rental as an add-on to make bonfires easier.
Please Note: The monitoring of Gulf County Burns Bans is your responsibility and we are not liable.
