WindMark Beach is a golf cart-friendly community nestled along the waters of St. Joseph Bay, offering a blend of relaxation and adventure. While golf carts are welcome on designated trails and roadways, beach driving is not permitted in this community. WindMark Beach features scenic walking and biking paths, boardwalks, pools, and beach access points, allowing visitors to enjoy as much or as little activity as they desire. Local shops and restaurants within the community provide convenience for both vacationers and homeowners alike. Gulf County is a Leave No Trace area – please clean up after yourself and remove all items from the beach at sunset. Follow all rules and regulations of Gulf County and the WindMark Beach Community to help preserve its natural beauty for generations to come.
Can you drive golf carts on the beach at Windmark Beach?
No! While Windmark Beach is a golf cart-friendly community, golf carts are not allowed on Windmark Beaches. Windmark Community is a large community, and the carts are a great way to get to and from their shops, pools, and beach access points.

How old do you have to be to drive a golf cart?
We require our rental drivers to be at least 21 years old OR a licensed driver 16 years or older with a licensed driver 21+. We also ask for proof of a valid driver's license and car insurance at the time of rental.

Leave No Trace
Remove all belongings (including rental items) from the beach at night. Gulf County patrols the area and will remove any items left on the beach. The renter is responsible for the replacement of any rental items should this occur, as well as any damage and/or lost revenue.

Sea Turtles
Sea Turtle Nesting season is from May 1st through October 31st. Please keep Gulf County Beaches CLEAN, FLAT, & DARK to protect nesting turtles and hatchlings. Fill in any holes and knock down sand sculptures before leaving the beach. Beachfront homes must have subtle lighting—please close blinds or curtains at night, as bright lights mimic the moon and disorient sea turtles.

FIRES
If permitted: Please extinguish and remove all remnants of beach bonfires, including cooled embers and wood. Only use suitable firewood (no nails, skids, or trash). You are able to secure a Solo Stove Bonfire rental as an add-on to make bonfires easier.
Please Note: The monitoring of Gulf County Burns Bans is your responsibility and we are not liable.
